HostsLouis, Andrew and James
Recent backlash over the film Pixels (currently rating a whopping 18% on Rotten Tomatoes) brings Andrew back to the show to help us find the answer to a burning question: why are movies based on video games so terrible?
In this episode, Louis, James and Andrew discuss the history of video game film adaptations and scratch our brains over the fact that they are rarely, if ever, good. We discuss the worst of the worst (you can probably guess which ones), and give our take how how Hollywood can at least try to do justice to games they’ve otherwise butchered on-screen.
